Shifu Jeffrey Bordelon was born on January 06, 1972, in the city of Gretna, Louisiana (USA).
When he was ten he began his training in Western Boxing and Chinese Wu Shu under the tutelage of his uncle, Duval Cantu and cousin, Abraham Danos. Mr. Bordelon was taught the skills of San Shou (Free Fighting), including Qin Na (Grabbing Techniques). His uncle made special arrangements for him to begin training in Bai He Quan (White Crane Boxing) under shifu Jonathan London, and he also studied Tai Ji Quan, Qigong and Xing Yi Quan.
In 1989 shifu Bordelon began the study of Ba Gua Zhang (Eight Trigrams Palm) and Sib Pal Gee (18 Methods) under shifu Dai Soung Chun. In addition, shifu Bordelon also trained under shifu Neil Leblanc (one of shifu Dai Soung Chun's most skilled students in the USA). Shifu Bordelon was taught Mei Hua Tang Lang Quan, Tai Ji Mei Hua Tang Lang Quan, Hou Quan (Monkey Boxing), Chang Quan (Long Boxing) and Xing Yi Quan.
In 1992 shifu Bordelon attained the rank of Assistant Instructor. He then began teaching full time at the "Chung Moo Kwan, Southern Kung-Fu Academy" in Metairie, Louisiana (USA).
In 1995, shifu Bordelon received his Black Sash and received recognition from the Korea Kung-Fu (Sib Pal Gee) Association as Instructor. In 1997 inherited shifu Leblanc Metairie school and also began teaching self-defense at the Y.M.C.A. of Metairie and the Avondale Recreation Center in Avondale, Louisiana, USA.
In 1998 shifu Bordelon resigned ownership of the school to pursue a career of law enforcement with the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office. After graduating in 1999, shifu Bordelon was assigned to the Patrol Division. Since 1999, he has been Hand-to-Hand Defensive Tactics Instructor at the Lafourche Parish Regional P.O.S.T. Academy. In 2001, shifu Bordelon received his Instructor Certification as a Defensive Tactics Instructor and continues to donate his time to teach new Law Enforcement Officers the skill to survive.
In 2001, shifu Bordelon began teaching Sib Pal Gee and Ba Gua Zhang at the Lafourche Parish Recreation Center in Houma, Louisiana (USA). Shifu Jeff Bordelon was still teaching at his Houma school while he continues his carreer in the Criminal Investigation Division.
In 2005 shifu Jeffrey Bordelon obtained his black belt 6th degree by the Chung Moo Kwan organization and was teaching at his own school in Bayou Blue. He was also on the reserves for the law enforcements.

In November of 2019 Jeff opened the Lion's Den Kickboxing school located in Lockport, LA, which is in operation to this day.
